The start of something good

Last week, two fellow bloggers Ashley and Heather announced that they will be hosting a new monthly link up to encourage others to work toward a healthy lifestyle and keep track of the progress. As soon as I read their stories and the motivation behind the idea I knew I was in. Getting healthy is something I've been thinking a lot about lately. I don't have any weight issues but.. I use to be an athlete and now, I don't think I could even run for 5 minutes straight. I am seriously out of shape, and I want to change that. I know the steps I need to take but I guess I've just been lacking my own motivation. I really hope that by writing about my health goals and participating in the link up I really dedicate myself to living a healthier life. I came up with three goals this month just to get things rolling.. they may or may not change. Also, I am using the same layout as the other girls.  We'll see how it goes!

Goal One: Eat a balanced breakfast at least 3x a week + drink more water

Week 1: (pass/fail, number of times achieved etc)

   {Any adjustments to the goal (upping it because I passed/making it more realistic..)}

Goal Two: Go to the gym at least 3x a week for at least an hour.
